IDS Technology was created to reflect the company's new identity with the ST Venture group. The company's business has been associated with Technology-based education and training systems since it first introduced CBT (Computer-Based Training) in Singapore.

Our success in these technologies has generated more opportunities for the company to develop customised Computer Based Training programmesfor defense-related application for the Naval and Air defense department. IDS Technology has been prominent in developing and supplying Computer Based Training courseware to the Industry. The Company's achievements include supplying the first Computer Integrated Manufacturing Training to Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1995, and also several hundred hours of customised/generic CAI Training Programme for the public, private and defense department of Singapore.

IDS's early development of the technology-based training concept to the Singapore market has culminated in the successful introduction of the SMART CLASSROOM concept to its customers. The classnet system allows teachers and students to interact with each other over the computer. This enables better control of the teaching and learning process for both the teacher and student in a computer classroom environment. IDS today is developing systems with several manufacturers and suppliers it represents to meet the needs of many other training institutes in the public and private sectors. One such product that has been recently developed is the response system unit that automatically calculates and accumulates data based on audiences' votes.

System Engineering is frequently the key step to supporting a customer's total needs. Our factory-trained engineers provide system design and product maintenance to achieve maximum utilisation of each equipment to save time and expenses for the customer.
